As far as archaeology is concerned, Egypt is the land of the mummy, and there have been numerous amazing discoveries there. Archaeologists there in February 2021 unearthed a mummy with a gold tongue that had been interred there.
The mummy’s golden tongue-shaped amulet, which was discovered in a burial shaft at the Taposiris Magna Temple, would have allowed it to “talk to gods” in the afterlife.
Despite the fact that it can look terrible to us, receiving this amulet was a great honor. This mummy that talks to god was probably an extremely prominent member of Egyptian society when it was alive.
