This old abbey, which is now located in Burton, England, was built in the 1100s. An old healing pool was found on the land recently during a 2022 excavation, and it has since been repaired.
The house, which dates to the 1100s, was initially built as a private residence before becoming an abbey.
This Burton residence is intriguing for more reasons than just the curative water. One historian said that vast caverns beneath the land may contain the Holy Grail, a piece of Knights Templar gold that has eluded treasure seekers for centuries. According to renowned historian David Adkins, it is believed that these tunnels are so big that they could fit Westminster Abbey inside of them.
