You can find a great deal of odd things in thrift shops, and some people are even fortunate adequate to find items of significant value.
That was what occurred to an enthusiast at a Pennsylvania flea market. He got a “dismal” painting for $4 since he suched as the structure bordering the artwork. When he took the art out, he found a duplicate of the Declaration.
After having it authenticated, he learned that this copy was the first printing of the historic antique. When it went up for auction in June of 1991, it was valued at $1 million (concerning $2.18 million in today’s money).
