Pietro has a background in film development, sales and financing and in the past year has turned towards independent producing. Pietro first gained filmmaking experience at NYU’s Tisch Film School of the Arts, where he earned a BFA with honors in Film and Television. He then studied Business for the Arts and Media at Milan’s Bocconi University before moving back to New York, where he worked in film for a few years – in development at Killer Films and later across distribution and international sales at Magnolia Pictures. He subsequently relocated to London, where he spent several years at established film company Goldcrest, sourcing and overseeing feature projects for its sales and financing arms, including Andrea Arnold’s Wuthering Heights and Phyllida Lloyd’s The Iron Lady.
