The Baghdad Battery was found in 1936 in Khujut Rabu, Iraq near Ctesiphon, the former resources of the Parthia as well as Sasanian Realms, the ages from which the Battery is assumed to day.
The Baghdad Battery is the name used for a trine artefacts– a tube of copper, a pole of iron, and also a ceramic pot-discovered together.
The National Museum of Iraq’s Wilhelm Konig believed that the item might have operated as some sort of battery, though various other scientists denied that case.
Others believed it may have been an old vessel in which spiritual scrolls were stored. So much, real purpose of the 2,000-year-old Baghdad Battery has yet to be disclosed.
