Referred to as the King of Na Gold Seal, a rice farmer discovered this prize while working the fields in 1784 on Shikanoshima Island in Japan’s Fukuoka Prefecture.

The seal is made from 95%- purity gold, and it has been assigned a main National Prize of Japan.

The seal was cast in China and also talented by the Han Emperor to a Japanese envoy. How the seal ended up in an irrigation ditch centuries later is unknown.

The seal was buried below big, boxy stones that required two individuals to raise. When it was uncovered, the Kuroda Clan, the leaders of the region, instantly maintained it up until consenting to contribute it to the city of Fukuoka two centuries later on.
