Kazuya Kinoshita is a 20 year old college student who goes through a painful breakup. Following his breakup he decides to rent a girlfriend named Chizuru Mizuhara. He finds himself in situations where he has to keep renting Chizuru in order to keep up appearances around his acquaintances. This eventually leads to him catching feelings for his rental girlfriend.
Characters
Kazuya Kinoshita: Kazuya is an indecisive person and is a person with very low self esteem. He always resorts to lying and often gets in sticky situations. Kazuya is indecisive and has a tendency to lie but is ultimately a very kind-hearted person. He even shows great persistence at times and will go great lengths to help others in favour of himself. His character is illustrated as a slim young teen with average height and brown spiky hair.
Chizuru Mizuhara: Chizuru is a genuinely kind-hearted person. She helps people in need and helps Kazuya when he needs her help. Her genuine kindness is also seen when she becomes friends with Sumi, and she helps her becoming better at her job of being a rent girlfriend. Chizuru’s character is illustrated with waist-length chestnut brown hair. Her hair is notably tied with bangs hanging on the right side and light brown eyes.
