Shooter is an American TV show based on the 2007 movie with the same name starring Mark Wahlberg. The show is about Bob Lee Swagger an ex-marine who gets pulled back into action after he is framed for attempting to assassinate the president. Fans have been asking, will there be a shooter season 4?

Bob Lee Swagger played by Ryan Phillipe is an Ex-marine. He is a highly trained, retired Force Recon Marine Gunnery Sergeant and MARSOC CSO Scout/Sniper. He gets stuck in fiery and dangerous scenarios and he uses his expertise to protect himself and those around him. The series is adapted from a novel by Stephen hunter named Point of Impact.

Ryan Phillipe plays the protagonist Bob Lee swagger and Shantel VanSanten plays his wife Julie swagger. The rest of the cast include Cynthia Addai-Robinson as Nadine Memphis, an FBI agent investigating Swagger. Omar Epps as Isaac Johnson, a Secret Service Agent who is also a former Force Recon Marine Captain, MARSOC CSO and commanding officer of Swagger. Eddie McClintock as Jack Payne, a figure involved in the conspiracy against Swagger. Josh Stewart as Solotov, a Chechen master sniper with whom Bob Lee has tangled before.
Is shooter season 4 cancelled?
Unfortunately, Yes. Due to the low ratings of the show and no popularity USA networks decided to not renew and withdraw from the show. The show had received mixed reviews from critics. As of now in 2022, it is highly unlikely that the show will return for another season. Shooter aired from 15 September 2016, to 13 September 2018.
