Taylor Sheridan and John Linson are the creators of Yellowstone. It was premiered on July 20, 2018 on the Paramount Network. It had 4 seasons and almost 39 episodes. The plot revolves around family drama at the ranch and the bordering Broken Rock Indian Reservation, national park, and developers.

It involves the arguments between the large cattle ranch of Indian Reservations and the land developers. It shows the Dutton family which owns a largest ranch in the Montana city known as The Yellowstone Dutch Ranch commonly known as the “The Yellowstone.”

1. Josh Lucas:  A young John Dutton in a recurring role.
2. Kevin Costner:  John Dutton, a patriarch of the Dutton who operates the Yellowstone.
3. Luke Grimes: Kayce Dutton, a former US Navy SEAL and John’s youngest son.

SO, Who is Melanie Olmstead from Yellowstone, and what happened to her?

Melanie worked with crew of Yellowstone as the manager for their transportation and proper halts on locations. She has a her nurturing strong bon with Hollywood and TV since the early 2000. She was fond of filming and locations too. Unfortunately, she died at the age of 50 in May 2019 due to cancer.

Yellowstone’s season finale which was aired on August 28, 2019 was so heartfelt by the viewers. It not only portrayed a great ending but also gave a tribute to Melanie Olmstead. She possessed deep love for animals and so Yellowstone close to her heart as it involved animals. It was a dream come true for her while working with the cast and crew of The Yellowstone.
